Terms of sale
These terms apply to every quotation and order from Tubi. Last updated 26 October 2026.
1. Who these terms are for
Tubi sells wholesale to businesses only: shops, webshops, importers and distributors. By accepting a quotation, the buyer confirms it buys in the course of its business. Anything agreed in writing in a quotation takes precedence over these terms.
2. Quotation and order
You ask for a quotation through the order form or by email, and you receive it within 24 hours. A quotation is valid for fourteen days from the day you sent the request. The order is binding for both sides once you accept the quotation and the first payment has been received.
3. Prices and minimum order
Prices are in US dollars per piece, ex works Lima, as listed on the collection page on the day of the quotation. The price per piece depends on the size of the whole order (Under 100 pieces, 100 to 500 pieces, 500+ pieces), counted over all collections together. The minimum order is $350 in total, in any mix. Freight, import duties, taxes and customs costs are not included unless the quotation lists them.
4. Payment
Half of the order total is paid when you accept the quotation; production starts once it has arrived. The other half is paid before the order leaves the workshop. Bank charges on your side are for your account. The goods remain the property of Tubi until the order is paid in full.
5. Production and lead time
Orders are ready in 2 to 8 weeks from the first payment, depending on the size and the mix; the quotation gives the expected ready date. Every alpaca is made by hand from natural fur, so shade, fur length and size vary slightly from piece to piece and from the photos. That is part of the product and not a defect.
6. Labels
Every alpaca carries the Tubi hang tag at no extra cost. A private label, made to your design, costs $0.20 extra per piece from 500 alpacas. You confirm that you hold the rights to any name, logo or design you ask us to print.
7. Delivery
We deliver DAP, door to door to the address you give, or EXW Lima when your own forwarder collects (Incoterms 2020). With DAP the risk passes to you when the goods arrive at your address; with EXW, when your forwarder collects them. Import clearance, duties and taxes in your country are your responsibility, also under DAP. We provide the commercial invoice, the packing list, the certificate of origin and, on request, the proof of origin for a trade agreement.
8. Safety and documents
Every alpaca is tested for mechanical safety, flammability and metals under EN 71 and ASTM F963 and passes. The test results can be shown and sent on request; see safety and compliance. As the importer you are responsible for meeting the rules of the country where you sell, such as registering as importer and adding your own name and address where the law asks for it.
9. Checking the goods and claims
Check the order when it arrives. Report missing, damaged or wrong pieces within 14 days of delivery, with photos, to contact@tubialpacas.com. Where the claim is right, we replace the pieces with your next order or credit their value; we do not take back goods that were ordered correctly.
10. Cancellation
An order can be cancelled free of charge until production has started. After that, the first payment covers the materials and work already done and is not refunded.
11. Liability
Our liability is limited to the invoice value of the pieces concerned. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost sales or profit, or for delays caused by events outside our control, such as strikes, closures, extreme weather or delays at customs and with carriers.
12. Applicable law
These terms and every order are governed by the law of Peru. Disputes go to the competent courts of Lima, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Questions about these terms: contact@tubialpacas.com.
