Do you offer terms for a standing programme?
Yes. Ask for terms with your first quotation. Larger and repeat orders are planned with a fixed ready date when you place them.
How much can the workshop make?
1,000 to 1,500 alpacas a month, up to 4,000 in peak season. 10 artisans work in Juliaca and Cieneguilla, so larger orders are planned with a fixed ready date when you place them.
How do the price tiers work?
Under 100 pieces you pay the standard price per piece. From 100 pieces it is about 5% lower, and from 500 pieces about 10% lower. Toys and accessories count together. Rugs are counted on their own: under 30, from 30 and from 100.
Which papers and safety documents come with the order?
The commercial invoice, the packing list and the certificate of origin, in the workshop's own name. Compliant for international markets, with the relevant safety tests: tell us the countries you sell in, and the documents for those markets come with the order.
Do you ship to my country?
We ship door to door, or ex works when you have your own forwarder in Peru. So far we have shipped to United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy and South Korea. Is your country not on the list? Get in touch and we check it for you.
Can the alpacas carry my own label?
Every piece carries the Tubi hang tag as standard, at no extra cost. Private label costs $0.20 extra per piece: your own hang tag, made to your design.
How is an order packed?
In export boxes of 78 × 58 × 78 cm, packed by size. One box holds 200 Mini, 90 Small, 40 Medium and 20 Large.
How long does an order take?
You get a quotation with shipping options within 24 hours. Half the amount starts production, and the order is ready in 2 to 8 weeks. Pieces that are already made only need your label, so they can leave sooner.
How do I pay?
Half the amount when you confirm the quotation, so production can start, and the other half before the order ships. All prices are in US dollars.
Can I mix collections, shades and sizes in one order?
Yes. Toys, rugs and accessories can share one order and one shipment. The $350 minimum counts over everything together. The price tiers do not: toys and accessories count together, and rugs are counted on their own.
